asyncmate is priced per active participant: you only pay for people who actually answer. This page explains what counts, what is free, and how the AI digest works.

Free beta: everything below, including the AI digest and full history, is free for every workspace until November 1, 2026. No upgrade needed until then.

What is an active participant

Someone who answered at least one check-in or survey question, or logged hours, in the last 30 days. The window rolls, so people who stop answering drop out of the count on their own. Being on a roster, reading digests in a channel, or voting in a poll costs nothing.

The free plan

Up to 10 active participants, with check-ins, hours logging, polls, surveys, kudos and reminders all included. Four limits apply: digests do not include the AI summary, reporting covers the last 90 days, kudos are capped at 20 a month, and anonymity features — anonymous surveys, anonymous polls and hidden-until-close poll results — are Pro.

The Pro plan

$2.50 per active participant per month. Everything in the free plan, plus the AI digest, anonymous surveys and polls, full history and unlimited kudos. Your seat count follows the 30-day active window automatically, so people who stop answering stop being billed.

The AI digest

On Pro, digests open with an AI summary of blockers, action items and shipped work, written in the language your team answers in. Each workspace has a daily AI allowance that scales with team size; past it, digests still post in the plain format. You can also switch AI off per check-in.

Always free

Reminders are free forever, no matter how many people see them, and poll voting never counts toward billing on any plan.

Cancelling and uninstalling

You can cancel any time from Billing in the dashboard; your workspace drops back to the free plan. If you remove asyncmate from Slack entirely, scheduled activity stops, and personal data is erased after a short grace period as described in our Privacy Policy.
