Polls & surveys

Polls give you quick answers in a channel. Surveys are anonymous check-ins for questions where honesty needs protection. Voting is always free and never counts toward your bill.

Quick polls

Go to Polls and click New poll, or type /asyncmate poll in Slack. Add a question and options, pick the channel, and asyncmate posts the poll there. People vote with one click and the results update right in the channel. You can make a poll anonymous when you create it.

Anonymous surveys

Surveys run through check-ins: create a New check-in and pick the Survey, eNPS or Weekly Pulse preset. Answers are collected anonymously and are never shown next to a name, not even to you. Results appear in a protected Survey results view in the dashboard instead of a channel digest.

Who gets billed

Nobody, for polls: poll voters are free on every plan. Survey and check-in participants count as active participants only if they answer. The details are in Billing and pricing.
