The most common issues and their fixes. If none of these help, email support@asyncmate.com and we will get you unstuck.

The digest is not posting to my channel

asyncmate joins public channels on its own. Private channels are different: Slack only lets invited apps in, so type /invite @asyncmate in the channel and the next digest will land.

A participant is not getting DMs

Check that the person is still a member of your Slack workspace and part of the check-in. They may also have paused their own prompts: /asyncmate status shows their current state, and /asyncmate snooze or /asyncmate ooo can switch prompts off for a while.

Check-ins fire at the wrong time

The schedule runs in the timezone set on the check-in. With follow-the-sun enabled, each participant is prompted based on the timezone in their Slack profile instead, so if one person gets prompts at odd hours, have them fix their Slack profile timezone.

My check-ins are paused

The free plan covers up to 10 active participants (people who answered in the last 30 days). Over that limit, check-ins pause until you upgrade or trim participants. Reminders keep running either way, they are never paused.

The AI summary is missing from a digest

The AI summary is part of the Pro plan. On Pro, check that AI is switched on for that check-in, and note that each workspace has a daily AI allowance: past it, the digest still posts, just without the AI part. See Billing and pricing.

asyncmate got removed from Slack

Reinstall it with Add to Slack for free on asyncmate.com. Your check-ins, history and settings are kept and pick up where they left off.
